We do not cite commercial health websites, clinic websites, individual surgeon websites, or patient review platforms — even if the information they contain is accurate. If a claim is true, a primary source exists, and we find it.
Fact-Checking Process
Before publication, every article undergoes fact-checking:
- Every statistic and medical claim is traced back to its cited source
- Source URLs are verified to confirm they link to the correct publication
